Been over a month now since I’ve updated. In that time quite a bit has happened, biggest of all? I got my license last Thursday. I have not driven on my license yet.

All goes well though, I’m moving out into the Hopkins house when the pipes and van get fixed. Should definitely improve my commute time.

Moreover here is why I’m writing. I got my license Thursday and I was ecstatic. By Saturday I was back to my gloomy self. As I receive more and more of the things I’ve always wanted and they all fail to bring a lasting lack of gloom I question whether or not anything will ever help. I had always assumed it was from lack of being around people, but even in Japan, around good friends for two solid weeks there were times where I was quite gloomy. Well though, now that I have my license this will allow a higher degree of freedom, certainly, and we will see where this leads. This could be a brave new world for me.

Here’s hoping I don’t kill my self driving.

Here's hoping that rant wasn't too crazy for you... its 2 am on a Sunday and I can't sleep.

Firstly, I have a job interview with a company called "LifeCycle" on Tuesday, which should be interesting. We'll see how that goes. Its a 6 to 9 month programming position, though the lady on the phone didn't have much else she could tell me about it, so in preparation I actually cut my hair... It's been two years... Whole time I was at brown never had a haircut.







It was time for it to go, it had so many split ends and I just didn't know how to manage it... I did enjoy how it kept my head warm though, I guess its time to pull out ye olde Derby and Scarf again...

My grandmother is sick, dieing actually, and that’s definitely not fun for anyone involved. A lot of people I’ve never met before, though have heard spoken of are coming out of the woodwork though, including a Native American medicine man my grandmothers apparently known his whole life. He seemed very interesting actually, though some of my relatives reactions to what he was saying was… frustrating at best. He did knock on Christianity a number of times, and that’s certain to bug a few people I know, but I say take it with a grain of salt.

On Friday I met up with a lady I've been talking to for a while now, ketinara (Her Journal is friends only, sorry) and we had a pretty good time. Played some video games and what not... She wasn't an axe murderer, so that’s a definite plus...
